Actress Phyllis Stickney Among Several Powerful Female Performers at Muntu Dance Theatre’s 45th Anniversary “UBUNTU” Celebratory Fundraiser Famed Vocalists Dee Alexander and Maggie and Africa Brown Also Lend Support to Renown Organization
WHO: Director, film/TV star, comedienne and humanitarian Phyllis Stickney (How Stella Got Her Groove Back, What’s Love Got to Do with It, Jungle Fever, A Different World, The Women of Brewster Place and others) will lend her comedic talents, along with performances by Chicago’s Maggie and Africa Brown (Oscar Brown’s daughters), and songstress Dee Alexander. Muntu Dance Theater will give a special performance.
